:: Join the Lab ::

If you are interested in joining the Rafferty Lab at the University of California, Riverside, please get in touch. We value diversity and welcome inquiries and applicants from underrepresented groups.

For current UCR undergraduates:

If you are interested in gaining research experience in the field and/or lab and want to learn more about ecology, please email Nicole Rafferty to introduce yourself. There may be opportunities to volunteer, receive research credit, or earn hourly pay.

For prospective graduate students:

I am particularly interested in recruiting students who have interests in pollination ecology, phenology, and/or climate change. There are opportunities to work in UC Natural Reserves or at the Rocky Mountain Biological Lab, and the lab has space in UCR greenhouses and growth chambers.

I accept students through the Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology Graduate Program. The early admission application deadline is typically December 1, with a final deadline of January 5 for fall admission and fellowship consideration. Please email me with a brief description of your research interests, your CV, and unofficial transcript(s) if you are interested in applying.

For prospective postdoctoral researchers:

If you are interested in applying for postdoctoral funding to work in the lab, please contact me. I welcome the opportunity to discuss research interests and the possibility of developing proposals with prospective postdocs.
